Your Guide to Skincare Treatments

Your Guide to Skincare Treatments

I created this page so you can read a little more about some of my favorite treatments, masks, and enhancements, what they’re designed to target, and why I love using them in my facials.

I especially love bringing Korean skincare and more advanced treatments into my facials to target different skin concerns and give your skin some extra love. There are so many ways we can customize your facial depending on what your skin needs. Whether you’re looking for hydration, exfoliation, calming, brightening, or just a little extra glow.

I hope this gives you a better idea of the different treatments we can add to your facial and maybe even introduces you to something new you’d love to try at your next appointment!

Targeted Treatment Masks

  • Close-up of a hand holding a small bottle of orange liquid serum or facial treatment with a white dropper cap, against a plain background.

KRX V-TOX Higher Power Lift Mask

My “Botox in a bottle” treatment! This Korean skincare mask is packed with peptides and is designed to lift, tighten, and firm the appearance of the skin while delivering skin-loving nutrients.

One of the coolest parts is watching the mask transform as it dries. You’ll feel it gradually tighten and firm on the skin, and as the water evaporates, the mask begins to create a unique “cracked” appearance. This is part of the mask’s tightening effect as the skin absorbs the nutrients. Formulated with 6 types of collagen, 11 peptides, niacinamide, fruit and leaf extracts, and bioflavonoids.

You can see a noticeable difference after just one treatment, with skin looking firmer, smoother, and more refreshed. I love following this treatment with red light therapy for an added boost.

Ideal for: Mature, aging, dry, dehydrated, and loss of firmness.

    Korean Carboxy Therapy Mask

Experience the unique oxygenating effect of CO₂ therapy with this innovative, needle-free treatment. A CO₂ gel is activated with a specialized sheet mask, creating a bubbly, fizzy reaction on the skin.

This treatment works through the Bohr Effect, a natural process where increased carbon dioxide encourages hemoglobin to release more oxygen to surrounding tissue. In simple terms, it helps bring oxygen and nutrient-rich blood flow to the skin, helping revive and refresh the complexion.

You can expect a warm, fizzy, slightly “spicy” tingling sensation while the mask is active. It can help calm the appearance of inflammation and bring life back to dull, tired, or dehydrated skin.

The result? A fresh, plump, healthy-looking glow with no needles and little to no downtime.

Ideal for: Dull, tired, dehydrated, inflamed, and lackluster skin.

    Oxygen Rx Mask

One of my favorite treatments, especially for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin! The Oxygen RX Mask is an oxygenating treatment that helps calm the appearance of redness and inflammation while refreshing and revitalizing the skin.

It’s a great option when your skin needs to be soothed, calmed, and refreshed without using anything too aggressive. It can also be helpful for skin that is congested or prone to breakouts while still being gentle enough for more sensitive skin.

Ideal for: Sensitive, rosacea-prone, inflamed, acne-prone, and congested skin.

  • C202 Mask

A two phase oxygenating treatment that revitalizes skin at the cellular level and works to clear even the most persistent acne.

It starts with a deep cleansing, followed by a powerful charcoal exfoliation experience that gently removes buildup, unclogs pores, kills acne causing bacteria. This is then followed by an oxygen infusion. The oxygenation phase helps detoxify, increase circulation, and leaves skin feeling energized and fresh. This is a great choice when your skin feels clogged, oily, or in need of a good reset.

Ideal for: Oily, congested, acne-prone, dull, and combination skin.

  • Korean Skincare Gardendale, Alabama

    KrX Cooling Mask

Another one of my favorites for calming irritated or inflamed skin! This mask starts as a powder and turns into a cooling gel when mixed with cold water. It has an icy, cooling effect that feels super refreshing on the skin, but it’s also very hydrating and helps give the skin the moisture it needs.

Amazing for acne, rosacea, sensitive skin, redness, inflammation, and skin that’s been exposed to the sun. I love pairing this mask with cooling globes for an extra cooling and soothing treatment.

Chemical Peels

  • Person lying down with a green facial mask applied, eyes closed, and head resting on a surface.

    Green Sea Peel

This is NOT your average chemical peel! The Green Sea Peel is a more natural treatment that uses millions of tiny marine spicules to create microscopic pathways in the skin. It’s often referred to as “liquid microneedling”. It’s great for improving acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and signs of aging. As the skin renews itself, it helps reveal smoother, clearer, brighter looking skin.

For best results, this treatment is performed as a series of 3 treatments.

Ideal for: Acne-prone skin, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and signs of aging.

  • Chemical Peels Gardendale, Alabama

    KrX Melapro Plus Cold Peel

An absolutely amazing chemical peel for stubborn pigmentation and dark spots! Unlike a traditional chemical peel, this one works more directly on the pigment in your skin without heavily peeling or exfoliating the skin. It’s a great option for sensitive skin and for anyone who struggles with pigmentation that can be difficult to treat.

It helps brighten the skin and fade dark spots, melasma, and post-acne marks while helping prevent new pigmentation from forming.

Ideal for: Melasma, dark spots, acne marks, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone.

  • Chemical Peels Gardendale, Alabama at VERVE

    KrX Blue Peel

A great gentle chemical peel for improving the overall look and feel of the skin! This peel uses a blend of acids to exfoliate dead skin, clear out clogged pores, and help improve the skin’s texture and tone without a lot of downtime.

It helps brighten dull skin, reduce the appearance of dark spots, smooth rough texture, minimize the look of pores, and improve breakouts and excess oil. It’s also a great option for first-time peel clients or anyone wanting to refresh their skin without a stronger peel.

I also love pairing this peel with a dermaplane!

Ideal for: Acne, clogged pores, excess oil, dullness, uneven texture, enlarged pores, dark spots, and uneven skin tone.

Facial Enhancements

  • A woman lies under LED light therapy, with his head tilted back, illuminated by colorful lights.

    LED Light Therapy

Light therapy targets inflammation, acne, and dullness while supporting your skin’s natural healing process. Blue light kills acne-causing bacteria, and red light boosts collagen and elastin to improve tone, texture, and firmness.

  • A woman lying down with her eyes closed, receiving a facial treatment using a pink facial tool on her lips.

    High Frequency

A targeted treatment that helps reduce breakouts, calm inflammation, and speed up healing after extractions. The gentle electrical current kills acne-causing bacteria and increases circulation, leaving the skin clearer and more balanced.

  • A person lying on a bed, receiving an eyebrow waxing treatment from a practitioner wearing black gloves.

    Dermaplane

Dermaplaning gently removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz using a special blade, leaving your skin smooth, bright, and ready to absorb products better.
